The supreme court on friday upheld the minority institution status of aligarh Muslim university (AMU). A bench of 7 judges of the supreme court gave this decision with a majority of 4-3. After this, the university Student Union celebrated by feeding sweets to each other outside AMU.

We welcome this decision and we accept this decision. We always had deep faith in the indian judiciary and that faith remains intact even today. That's why we are relieved that this decision has come. AMU professor Mohammad Wasim ali said that we welcome the supreme Court's decision. We hope that we will benefit from this decision in the future as well. The decision was in the biggest court of india, so it took time. The decision of the court is welcome. We all welcome it.

professor Asmat ali Khan reacted to the decision of the supreme Court. He said that the decision of the court is commendable. The main dispute in this was whether aligarh Muslim university is a minority or not. The supreme court has decided it and accepted that aligarh Muslim university is a minority.

Congress leader Vivek Bansal in aligarh reacted to the supreme Court's decision on AMU. While talking to IANS, he expressed happiness over the decision of the supreme Court. The trust of common indians on the supreme court has increased further. The decision given by the supreme court regarding AMU is praiseworthy.

Let us tell you that in the bench headed by Chief Justice of india DY Chandrachud, CJI DY Chandrachud himself, Justice sanjeev Khanna, JD Pardiwala and Justice manoj mishra have given the decision in favor of maintaining the status of 'AMU' as a minority institution according to Article 30 of the Constitution. This decision has not come unanimously but in the ratio of 4:3. CJI, Justice Khanna, Justice Pardiwala and Justice manoj mishra were unanimous in favour of the decision. While Justice Suryakant, Justice Dipankar Dutta and Justice sc Sharma had a different decision.
