Reportedly in view of the assembly elections in maharashtra, sharp attacks are being made between the ruling and the opposition. Meanwhile, bjp leader Kirit Somaiya has surrounded the maha Vikas Aghadi. He alleged that maharashtra congress has assured the All india Ulema Board to ban RSS. Kirit Somaiya alleged, "As soon as the maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government comes to power in maharashtra, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be banned. The All india Ulema Board maharashtra has placed 17 demands with the state congress President Nana Patole, one of which is to ban RSS. congress has accepted it." A letter has been issued by bjp leader Kirit Somaiya. It has been described as the letter of maharashtra congress President Nana Patole. However, Nana Patole himself has not confirmed this letter.

Meanwhile Kirit Somaiya has allegedly released a letter from Nana Patole. It reads, "Sir, we have received a request from the All india Ulama Board to support us in the maharashtra assembly elections 2024 and in reference to our 17 demands. We thank you for your support. It further reads, "It is also expected that the All india Ulama Board will campaign for the victory of the congress party candidates in the assembly elections. Regarding the 17 demands expressed by you, we would like to tell you that after the formation of MVA in maharashtra, we will definitely take steps to implement your demands."

Furthermore maharashtra congress has posted on social media X saying that the letter sent by Kirit Somaiya is fake. maharashtra congress said, "Seeing defeat in front, the corrupt alliance has started trying to mislead people by creating fake pictures of things that never happened, letters that never went. The signature of maharashtra congress President Nana Patole on this letter was also fake. No matter how many fake narratives there are, the truth always comes out.
