Imposing conditions affects the performance of the DGP - Nana Patole
Nana Patole wrote, ''Sanjay Verma's conditional appointment threatens the leadership and administrative continuity of the police force. If the state government has any intention to re-appoint rashmi Shukla as DGP after the elections, it may create legal and administrative complications. Imposing conditions also affects the performance of the DGP.'' He further said, ''The appointment of the director General of police before the elections and the director General of police after the elections affects the basic constitutional principles of administration, hierarchy and separation of powers. This action of the state government may disturb the constitutional balance and create legal uncertainty.''
