Reportedly due to strong winds blow in delhi on sunday morning, there was a slight improvement in the air quality of delhi, but the AQI is still in the 'very poor' category. According to the CPCB, during the last 24 hours, the average air quality index of delhi remained between 301 and 400, which is considered in the very poor category. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate fog is expected in the national capital on Sunday. The maximum temperature of the day is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is 18 degrees Celsius. According to the Central pollution Control Department, Delhi's air quality was recorded in the 'very poor' category despite slight improvement on saturday evening. The AQI improved from 358 at 9 am on saturday to 351 at 6 pm.
Hence according to data received from CPCB's app 'Sameer', AQI at Bawana and New Moti Bagh centers was recorded in the 'severe' category with 405 and 408 respectively. There is a partial improvement in AQI on sunday due to wind. AQI between 0-50 is considered 'good', 51-100 is 'satisfactory', 101-200 is 'moderate', 201-300 is 'bad', 301-400 is 'very bad' and 401-500 is 'severe'.
Moreover according to scientists, cold can be seen in delhi after december 15. There is little hope of much change in temperature till november 15. There is a possibility of smog in delhi in the morning and night. Till november 13, the maximum temperature can remain between 32 to 33 degrees and the minimum temperature can remain between 16 to 18 degrees. On saturday, the maximum temperature in delhi was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees above normal. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.3 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees above the season's average. According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity level remained between 78 percent and 98 percent.
