Former maharashtra cm and shiv sena (UBT) President uddhav Thackeray's bag was checked. His bag was checked at Vani airport in Yavatmal. He was on a tour of Vidarbha in Maharashtra. shiv sena (UBT) chief uddhav thackeray said, "When I came for campaigning, seven-eight officials checked my bag. I gave them permission. I made a video of them. But from now on, if someone's bag is checked, first check the identity card of the officer, find out what post he holds.''

The former cm of maharashtra, while raising questions on the investigation by the officials, further said, ''Just like they check your pockets, check theirs too. This is your right. If the investigating officer stops you, check their pockets too. I did not get angry at the officers who checked my bag.''

'Show courage to check PM Modi and Shah's bags'

The shiv sena (UBT) chief raised questions and said, ''Just like they checked my bag, they should show courage to check PM Modi and amit Shah's bags too.'' Let us tell you that voting will be held on november 20 in a single phase for all 288 assembly seats in maharashtra, while the results will be declared on november 23.
