Actually, chief minister Eknath Shinde had reached Chandivali assembly seat in mumbai to campaign for his mla Dilip Lande. While returning from the election campaign, some people showed black flags to the chief minister and tried to stop his car. It is being told that the people who tried to stop the Chief Minister's car were shiv sena (UBT) workers. The police have detained some people in this case.
cm Eknath Shinde also addressed a rally in Vaijapur for shiv sena candidate Ramesh Boranare. During this, he rejected the claim of increasing support for shiv sena (UBT). He also claimed that the Muslim vote bank growing in its favor will soon disintegrate. The chief minister alleged that the election symbol of the uddhav Thackeray-led party 'Mashal' is a medium to burn houses and create a rift between communities.

Eknath Shinde further said, "They (Shiv Sena UBT) call the torch a symbol of revolution, but their torch burns houses and creates a rift between communities. The Muslim vote growing in their favor will soon disintegrate." Voting for 288 assembly seats of maharashtra will be held in a single phase on november 20 and the results will be declared on november 23.
