The kedarnath assembly by-election in uttarakhand has heated up the politics of the state. This election is not only important for both the major parties, bharatiya janata party (BJP) and congress, but has also become a question of their credibility. While congress wants to continue its recent wave of victory by winning this seat, bjp wants to prove by winning this seat that it is unbeatable in the state with the help of development and the popularity of prime minister Narendra Modi.
This election is very important for bjp because kedarnath assembly is considered an important area from religious and political point of view. The party workers and leaders have made the development work done by prime minister Narendra Modi in this area an election issue. bjp is confident that people are impressed by the reconstruction of kedarnath Dham and improvement in travel facilities done under Modi's leadership.
Many bigwigs engaged in election campaign
The party has put in all its strength to win this seat. Former Chief Ministers trivendra singh rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat along with the current cabinet ministers are also engaged in election campaign.
