Reportedly elections for the 81-member jharkhand assembly are being held in two phases. In this, the first phase of voting took place on november 13 and the second phase of voting will be held tomorrow i.e. on november 20. The results will be declared on november 23. Many crorepati candidates are trying their luck in this election. Among them, Samajwadi party candidate Akil Akhtar, contesting from Pakur seat, is the richest candidate. He has declared assets worth more than Rs 402 crore.
Meanwhile according to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), chief minister and jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party working president hemant Soren has total assets of more than Rs 25 crore. At the same time, bjp state president Babulal Marandi has declared total assets of Rs 1 crore. Kalpana Soren, JMM candidate contesting from Gandey assembly constituency of Giridih district and wife of chief minister hemant Soren, has assets worth more than Rs 25 crore. Apart from this, JMM candidate from ranchi Mahua Maji has declared assets worth more than Rs three crore. bjp candidate Champai Soren, contesting from st reserved Saraikela constituency, has assets worth more than Rs three crore.
Moreover at the same time, congress candidate ajay Kumar, contesting from jamshedpur east in east Singhbhum district, has declared assets worth more than Rs 43 crore. congress candidate Rameshwar Oraon, contesting from Lohardaga seat, has assets worth Rs 42 crore. Apart from this, congress candidate Banna Gupta from jamshedpur West district has assets worth more than Rs six crore. Sita Soren, sister-in-law of cm hemant Soren, bjp candidate from Jamtara assembly seat, has declared assets worth more than Rs eight crore.
