Sharad Pawar's grandson Yugendra Pawar lost the election from Baramati. He was defeated by his uncle ajit pawar by a margin of 100899 votes. Yugendra got 80233 votes.
Former cm Vasant Dada Patil's family member Jayshree Patil lost the election from Sangli. She was defeated by BJP's Sudhirdada Gadgil.
A surprising name in this list is also that of congress state president Nana Patole. Nana Patole has lost the election to BJP's avinash Brahmankar by just 1607 votes. Former cm Prithviraj Chavan has also lost the election from Karad South. He has been defeated by BJP's Atulbaba Bhosale by a margin of 39355 votes.
