The counting of votes for the jharkhand assembly elections went well. According to the trends, a JMM-led coalition government can be formed in jharkhand once again. In the election results, chief minister hemant Soren was leading from Barhet seat. However, his wife Kalpana Soren and his brother Basant Soren are currently trailing in their respective seats. According to the election commission data till 12:30 pm, hemant Soren is leading by 14772 votes in Barhet seat. Till 12:30 pm, he has got 27956 votes. At the same time, Kalpana Soren is trailing by 1055 seats in Gandey seat. So far, BJP's Munia Devi has got 36554 votes from here. Kalpana Soren has got 35499 votes.
At the same time, cm hemant Soren's brother Basant Soren is also trailing by 3348 votes from Dumka seat. sunil Soren of bharatiya janata party is leading from here. He has got 46112 votes, while Basant Soren has got 42764 votes.
Elections were held in two phases
This time elections were held in jharkhand in two phases. In the first phase, voting was held on 43 seats on 13 November. The second phase of voting was completed on 20 November, in which voting was held on the remaining 38 assembly seats out of 81.
