They are looking to acquire 1320 acres of land from here. Hundreds of farmers from twenty villages have to give their lands for the airport. With this, the farmers of Uddanam are spending their days and nights crying, giving up food and water. They thought that they would give their lives in this land and merge in this soil, but they were worried about what to do when the government took their lands. Now, in 2018, Cyclone Titli came and swept away the entire glory of Uddhanam.

 The beautiful coconut groves were gone and a graveyard atmosphere was seen. The farmers were very upset at that time. They were angry that they would see coconut groves and cashew groves again in their lands. After all, their hard work has paid off and those groves are flourishing again after all these years. While the farmers were very happy that they would get a good harvest this year, the news reached them like a thunderbolt. They say that the earth had become cracked when the authorities asked them to give their lands to the airport. They say that they cannot give the lands. They are also saying that Chandrababu came to power only to take their lands. They are expressing anger that they can take the land and build the airport, but they are not going to put a dent in the green fields. They are swearing that they will die but they will not give the lands. They are demanding that even pawan kalyan should intervene. Now, public organizations have also come forward in support of them. Public organizations are questioning whether farmers will be robbed of the airport or will their livelihoods be ruined. On the other hand, the Bhogapuram airport is nearby. It is being built on four thousand acres, so why is the airport in green fields? Left party leaders are questioning. The government has already made a decision.
