Not only this, arvind kejriwal announced that after the elections, women will be given Rs 2100 instead of one thousand. women can register for this scheme from13 December. On this occasion, arvind kejriwal said, "Today I am going to make two big announcements and both of them are for the mothers and sisters of Delhi. We had promised that every month we will put Rs 1000 in the account of women. Today the cabinet has passed it. women will have to register for this, those who register will start getting 1000 rupees every month in their account. Perhaps kejriwal further said, "We were going to start this in april last, but unfortunately these people sent me to jail in a wrong case. I stayed in jail for 6-7 months and after coming out, I was working with Atishi to implement this scheme. Today it has been implemented. This scheme will not cost the government but will be a blessing for the delhi government."
Moreover the AAP convenor said, "BJP people are saying where will the money come from for this? They used to say this even when we talked about making electricity free in 2013 and we showed it by making it free. I am a magician. I know how to run an account. I know where the money will come from and how to give it, you don't worry about it." He said that today we are announcing, from tomorrow registration will start and then the money will be credited to the account. In fact, during the delhi budget this year, the then Finance minister Atishi had announced the 'Mahila Samman Yojana'. arvind kejriwal has mentioned this during his many election campaigns and padyatras.
