The survey of the properties of the Waqf Board of the government is being done across the state. The government has summoned a report regarding the properties of 5 tehsil boards of firozabad district. There are 697 Waqf properties in five tehsils across the district. The tehsil team is verifying these properties on the instructions of the government. It is worth noting that firozabad district was established on 5 february 1989. This district was formed by combining firozabad and Tundla tehsils of agra district as well as Shikohabad and Jasrana tehsils of Mainpuri district.

After this, Sirsaganj was established as a new tehsil during the Mulayam government. The total number of Waqf properties in 5 tehsils in the district is 697. The government had given instructions to the district administration to verify the Waqf properties. After this, according to the list released by the Minority Welfare Officer, 304 Waqf Board properties are registered in firozabad Sadar Tehsil, 69 in Tundla, 151 in Shikohabad, 125 in Jasrana, 48 in Sirsaganj. After preliminary investigation of these properties, the information has been sent to the government. While on the new format, the tehsil team will verify and send its report to the Minority Welfare Officer's office, after which this detail will be sent to the government.

Minority Welfare Officer nidhi Singh said, "The government is conducting a survey of Waqf properties in the entire state. The primary report has been sent to the government but a new format has been sent by the government. In this format, the report will be sent according to 22 columns. Work is being done on this, soon the report will be sent according to the format."
