Jharkhand bjp state president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi on monday strongly condemned the lathicharge on students going to gherao JSSC office in Ranchi. He said that this is a barbaric action to crush democratic rights at the behest of the state government. students are protesting against the irregularities in JSSC CGL (Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination. This is their democratic right. He said that instead of finding a solution to the peaceful protest of the students, this attempt to suppress them with the help of lathi and violence exposes the insensitivity of chief minister hemant Soren towards students and unemployed. Today the lathi has not only been used on the students, but it is also an attack on the hope of justice from the government.
'End the deadlock by recommending a cbi inquiry'
cm hemant Soren should give up his dogmatism and arrogance and consider sensitively the demand of the poor, hardworking students who are agitating. They should not make the CGL exam an issue of their prestige and end the deadlock by recommending a cbi inquiry in the interest of the students.
'Lathicharge done on students'
Jharkhand Loktantrik kranti Morcha president and mla Jairam Mahto has also lodged a strong protest against the lathicharge incident. He said that the students who were peacefully moving forward to demand the cancellation of the JSSC CGL exam were lathicharged. Many students including party leader Devendranath Mahto have been injured due to this.
'Our fight will continue'

Our fight will continue on the demand of cancellation of the exam and a cbi inquiry into the rigging. Let us tell you that on monday afternoon at around 1.30 pm, a group of students gathered at Namkum Sadabahar Chowk in ranchi and were trying to move towards the JSSC office, when the police stopped them.
