The pipe of the sewer and water line installed under the main road of Vikas nagar in lucknow has become completely dilapidated. It may take about six months to replace this sewer and water pipeline. During these six months, people coming and going will have to face problems. The road in front of PNB has collapsed due to the dilapidated sewer line and the work of repairing it has not started yet.

Due to the collapse of the road, movement on this road has stopped. people have to travel on foot only on this road. Municipal Commissioner Indrajit Singh inspected this road on tuesday morning. After this, he instructed GM kuldeep Singh. In his instructions, he has asked to start water supply by laying a new pipeline as soon as possible. The Municipal Commissioner said that the potholes on the road should be filled and barricaded around it to make the way for small vehicles to move in both directions.

What instructions have been given?

The Municipal Commissioner gave instructions and said that it may take 15 to 20 days. Till the entire sewer line is not replaced, the movement of big vehicles on this road will remain completely closed. Due to continuous leakage from the dilapidated sewer line, the road has collapsed 6 times in Vikas nagar since the year 2022. For the sixth time, the road in front of PNB has collapsed on Monday. Due to this, a 20 feet wide and 27 feet long pit has formed there. Its depth is about 30 feet.

To prevent anyone from coming and going on this road, barricading has been done about 10 meters before the pit from PNB intersection and the other side. On this road, there is Sector 5 on one side and Sector 6 on the other side. Due to this barricading, big vehicles are not coming. Because of this, people have to come from the inside of Sector 5 and Sector 6 to catch the vehicles near PNB intersection.
