Apart from this, shiv sena (UBT) mp Priyanka Chaturvedi said, "There was voting in which it was decided whether it should be presented or sent directly to JPC. In that voting, 20 MPs of bjp itself were found missing. This shows that despite issuing a whip, the kind of control they had, people chose to disregard it."
"This is a big story in itself. So, before thinking about a two-third majority in bringing this bill, they should save themselves from this embarrassment so that this kind of voting pattern is not repeated. One Nation One election has gone to the JPC. We know it is against the federal structure of the country, it is against the Constitution of this country and we will continue to fight against it. We hope the JPC will discuss it before talking about One Nation One election," he said.
