What did the Turkistan Islamic party say against China?
Turkistan Islamic party (TIP) leader Abdul Haq al-Turkistani has declared jihad against China. He is inciting people by resorting to radical islam and anti-China nationalism. Abdul Haq also refers to the 'Baran Rebellion' of 1990, in which there was a bloody conflict between the Uighurs and the Chinese army. He is talking about the cause of TIP as taking revenge against China's occupation of 'East Turkistan'.
In a video released on december 8, TIP has spewed venom against China. Earlier they were fighting in Syria, now they are talking about doing 'jihad' in China's Xinjiang as well. They are saying that now they will also fight in 'East Turkistan' (which china calls Xinjiang). In the video, Muslims have been repeatedly called upon to do jihad and 'fight in the way of Allah'. It has been said that sacrificing one's life and property for jihad is 'a great honor and blessing'.
In the video, a speaker says, "O Mujahid, do jihad, move forward, never retreat. Live with dignity. The moment you give up your weapon, your dignity ends. The moment you take off your uniform, your dignity falls. Your parents, who are being tortured by china, are waiting for you. Your sisters, who are being subjected to horrific sexual abuse in Chinese jails, are shedding blood with tears." The same video further says, "O Mujahid, your people are calling you. They are saying that save them from the ruthless atrocities of the Chinese government. The blood of your navel fell on that land (East Turkistan). O Mujahid, your people are calling you for freedom from Chinese oppressors."
