When responding to the members, chief minister yogi Adityanath, citing NCRB data, said that since 2017, there has been a 97 to 99 percent reduction in communal riots in the state. He claimed that there have been no riots in the state since 2017, while from 2012 to 2017 (SP tenure), there were 815 communal riots in the state and 192 people died. yogi said that between 2007 and 2011, 616 communal incidents took place, in which 121 people died.

Meanwhile yogi said, "How long will you mislead the public by hiding the facts. A survey was being conducted in sambhal on the orders of the Honorable Court. jai Shri ram is not a communal address. We have no work without Ram.'' He said, ''Everyone can understand the intentions of excitement caused by chanting jai Shri Ram.'' Talking about the victory of bjp alliance in seven out of nine seats including Kundarki assembly constituency of Moradabad district in the recent by-election, the chief minister said that calling the victory of Kundarki a robbery of votes is an insult to the member. The SP candidate's deposit was forfeited there. He said, ''The Pathan and Sheikh there are saying that our ancestors were Hindus, your ancestors were also Hindus. This is a clash between local and foreign Muslims, which is going on for the fight for supremacy.'' On the sambhal case, yogi said that on the instructions of the Honorable Court, the district Magistrate and Superintendent of police conduct the survey in a peaceful manner. He said that during the survey, there was no disturbance of peace in the first two days.

Moreover yogi claimed, "The atmosphere deteriorated after the speeches given during friday prayers on 23 November, the situation after that is in front of everyone." The leader of the house said, "The atmosphere was spoiled in Sambhal. There have been continuous riots since 1947. One person died in 1947 and six people died in 1948. There were riots in 1958-1962, five people died in 1976." He further said, "In 1978, 184 Hindus were burnt the masse. Curfew was imposed for several months continuously. There were riots in 1980-1982 and one person died. Four people died in 1986. Five people died in 1990-1992, two in 1996. This sequence continued continuously."
