Reportedly aam aadmi party (AAP) national convener and former delhi CM arvind kejriwal on wednesday made a big announcement ahead of the delhi Assembly elections 2025. He said that the AAP government will provide free treatment to the elderly in Delhi. All the elderly above the age of 60 years will be able to avail this facility. Meanwhile arvind kejriwal said, "Under this scheme, everyone will get free treatment in government or private hospitals. As soon as the government is formed, the delhi government will take care of the health of the elderly by passing this scheme. In return, all the elderly of delhi are expected to support the aam aadmi party on the day of voting as a blessing." AAP chief arvind kejriwal also said, "Our government will not discriminate between the rich and the poor. Everyone will get free treatment. Registration of the elderly will be started soon and soon I cards will be issued to everyone."

Perhaps AAP chief arvind kejriwal wrote in his X post this morning that I am going to make a very important announcement at 1 pm today. This announcement will be for our elders and will prove to be another milestone in the delhi model. Earlier, AAP chief arvind kejriwal had announced 'Mahila Samman Yojana' for women on december 12. Under this scheme, the government had announced to transfer one thousand rupees every month to the account of eligible women. Later he said that women will be given 2100 rupees instead of one thousand.

Moreover he said that as age increases, 100 diseases surround a man. The biggest worry of all is, how will I get treatment? We all know so many people who come from good families, but their children are unable to take care of them. Children abandon their own parents. You do not worry. Your son is still alive. We have been reading a story in Ramayana. When lakshman fainted, Hanuman ji brought Sanjivani booti for him. Today I am going to announce Sanjivani Yojana in delhi, under which I will provide free treatment to all our elderly people above 60 years of age. The entire cost of treatment will be borne by the delhi government. Registration will also start in two to three days.
