Reportedly the cold has increased due to snowfall in the mountains and rain in many districts of UP. On tuesday also, light rain occurred in many districts including Noida, Ghaziabad, due to which the temperature has dropped. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather for the next two days, but heavy rain will be seen once again in the coming days and a warning of cold wave has also been issued, which will further increase the cold. To avoid the havoc of cold, people are now resorting to bonfires, while fog has also increased the troubles of the people. Due to fog in the morning and evening, there are a lot of problems in traffic movement. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather today on 25 december as well, but has issued a yellow alert of dense fog in 31 districts including Noida, Meerut, Bareilly, Pilibhit.
Perhaps the weather will change once again from 27 December. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh and in western UP. During this time, there is a possibility of shallow to moderate fog during night and morning. Hailstorm warning has been issued at some places in western UP. During this time, strong gusty winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour. Due to which the maximum temperature may fall by 3-4 degrees Celsius in the next 3 days.
In UP, today a yellow alert of dense fog has been issued in Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Rampur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria and Ballia.
