Currently all parties are busy making strategies for the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi. Meanwhile, there is a discussion that Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM is preparing to field delhi riot accused Shahrukh Pathan in the elections. On the question asked about making Shahrukh Pathan a candidate, AIMIM delhi State President Shoaib Jamai said that if a riot victim or riot accused is given a ticket, then why is anyone having a problem with it? Shoaib Jamai said in a special conversation with ABP News, "At present a suggestion has come, which will be considered. But I don't know why bjp is having a problem with this. Why do bjp people forget that their party has made accused like Sadhvi Pragya MPs.''
Meanwhile when Shoaib Jamai was asked why AIMIM is making only delhi riot accused its candidate? On this, he said, "We want Shahrukh Pathan to get bail. Has Shahrukh Pathan murdered anyone?" He said in a subtle way that if the people of Seelampur want, we will definitely give him a ticket. Shahrukh Pathan may or may not contest the election but AIMIM is standing with him." He also responded to the question asked about Congress's preparations to make Ishrat Jahan a candidate. AIMIM leader Shoaib Jamai said, "What is left now? Let the third list of congress come, we will see a big upheaval in politics."
When responding to the question on the allegations of calling AIMIM BJP's B team, he said, "Arvind kejriwal should explain why he goes to other states to contest elections? If kejriwal has so much trouble then he should withdraw all his Muslim candidates and support us, it will be a favour to him. kejriwal has lied and made the Muslim women of Mustafabad stand in line by giving them false promises of giving them Rs 2100. We have told our workers to oppose this." When he was asked that AIMIM is accused of contesting elections only where it can divide the Muslim votes so that bjp gets direct benefit from it. On this the AIMIM leader said, "Now Arvind Kejriwal's small recharge is over. His validity has ended, so now he will have to go."
