As per report Swami Rambhadracharya has retorted on the statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. He said that this may be his personal statement. He may be the director of the Sangh, not of Hindu religion. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had said that some people raise the issue related to temple-mosque so that they can establish themselves as the leader of Hindus, especially in the context of ram temple, such things are being seen more.
When speaking to the media on this statement of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj said, "His statement may be personal, we have nothing to do with it, because he is not our disciplinarian. He may be the director of the Sangh, not of Hindu religion. Our focus is always on the discipline and truth of religion. Wherever there are certified places of Hindu religion, we will be present there." He said, "Wherever there is evidence of ancient temples, we will try to re-establish them. This is not a new idea for us, but the protection of our culture and religion based on truth." He described the incident of people killed during the violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh as unfortunate. He said that Hindus should be united, they should not be polarized.
Moreover regarding the atrocities on Hindu minorities in the neighboring country Bangladesh, he said that the government is taking steps on this, but now more stringent steps should be taken. I will ask prime minister Narendra Modi to take a tough stand. Along with this, he expressed happiness over the organization of Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Let us tell you that a grand ram Katha has been organized in Thakur village of Kandivali in Mumbai, in which the famous saint Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj will narrate the story for seven days. A large number of devotees are expected to reach this event. The purpose of organizing ram Katha in Kandivali Thakur village is only to propagate religion. Ramabhadracharya called it a holy occasion to bring positive change in the lives of devotees.
