Weather department officials said that due to active western disturbance and its interaction with eastern winds, light to moderate rain and thundershowers occurred in delhi, National capital Region (NCR), North-West and Central India. The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, which was 2.8 degrees above normal. According to data from the central pollution control board (CPCB), the air quality at 9 am was recorded in the 'very poor' category with 372. The 24-hour air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 345 at 4 pm on Thursday. AQI is considered 'good' between zero to 50, 'satisfactory' between 51 to 100, 'moderate' between 101 to 200, 'poor' between 201 to 300, 'very poor' between 301 to 400, and 'severe' between 401 to 500.
