The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Crime Branch has achieved great success in a special operation conducted as part of the campaign to make the capital delhi drug-free. The Crime Branch team has arrested three main accused of the nationwide narco syndicate and recovered a huge consignment of various drugs and packing material-machinery. The price of which is being reported to be Rs 1 crore in the international market.

Big success in drug-free delhi campaign

The police officer said that in the campaign being run under the vision of the Lieutenant governor of delhi to make delhi drug-free by 2027, the team led by Inspector Jasbir Singh, under the guidance of DCP Bhishma Singh and under the supervision of ACP Rajkumar, has succeeded in exposing this syndicate of drug dealers.

Nationwide organised syndicate busted

The officer said that in view of the consumption of drugs in rave parties organised during the celebrations on the occasion of New Year, the ANTF team was engaged in gathering information about drugs and its smugglers. Based on the information received, the police has busted this organised syndicate which was involved in the manufacture and supply of banned narcotics.

Supply links linked to many states

According to the police, during this operation, a huge quantity of narcotics including tablets, syrups and machinery used for their preparation and packaging have been seized, which is worth Rs 1 crore. This syndicate is involved in the supply of these banned narcotics in Delhi-NCR as well as Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and uttarakhand etc. The recovered tablets are linked to suppliers in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The police have arrested all the accused in this case and are engaged in exposing the entire network.
