Giving information about the incident, family members said that 23-year-old Kanhaiya Thakur, a resident of Bhauada Mahadev temple near Madhubani nagar police station area, was a goldsmith and was involved in the manufacturing of gold jewellery. Kanhaiya was going to Jaynagar on his Apache bike to meet a customer. At the same time, near the canal bridge located near Amada and Nazirpur villages of Raghuni Dehat panchayat of Rajnagar police station area, a Glamour bike carrying three people came from the front. Kanhaiya Thakur's bike collided with them. The collision was so severe that Kanhaiya Thakur died on the spot.

During this, Vikas Mandal, the youth sitting with Kanhaiya Thakur on his bike and two of the three youths riding on the other bike were seriously injured. At the same time, the body of the deceased Kanhaiya has been kept for postmortem in Madhubani Sadar Hospital.
