According to the information received from Shambhu Nishad associated with varanasi ganga River Boatmen Organization, a meeting of varanasi Water police and Boatmen Society has been held in which an important decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of the people. In fact, no boat will cross the ganges after 4:00 pm on 31 december and 1 January. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on boating after 8:00 pm on these two days. Apart from this, special attention will be paid to ensure that no person violates the administrative rules while operating the boat.
Moreover apart from this, the license checking process of boats running in the ganga river of varanasi can also start from today. The administration has already conducted checking campaigns regarding the boats running as per the standard and the prescribed number of passengers. In such a situation, if any boatman violates the rules, his boat will be seized.
