Under the drug-free campaign in the capital delhi, the Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Crime Branch has achieved great success. ANTF has arrested a woman and recovered a consignment of drug injections. DCP Bhishma Singh said that on the orders of the Lieutenant Governor, a campaign is being run to make delhi drug-free by 2027. He said that on december 26, information was received that a woman named nidhi sells mephentermine injections to gym-goers to increase stamina.

The woman is involved in the business of selling mephentermine injections illegally. Based on the information, a raid team was formed in collaboration with ANTF. The team caught a woman named Nidhi. A large quantity of mephentermine injections was found on searching the house. DCP Bhishma Singh said that the woman used to sell mephentermine injections to youth, especially gym-goers, without a license. Officials believe that nidhi was involved in the illegal distribution of injections.

Woman arrested for illegally selling mephentermine injections

Injections are often misused for non-medical purposes. The police arrested the woman and raided the house. A total of 60 injections of mephentermine were recovered from the house. A case has been registered against the woman under the drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and further action is being taken. If the crime is proved, the minimum punishment is 3 years and maximum life imprisonment. Mephentermine injections were found from the house without any prescription and license. Therefore, a large network of drug smugglers is suspected in the case. ACP Rajkumar, Inspector Rakesh Duhan, ANTF's SI kuldeep and GNCT Inspector amar Kumar Mokashi were involved in the joint operation.
