Joint Commissioner (Law and Order) of mumbai police Satyanarayan Chaudhary gave information about the action. He said that 195 cases have been registered and a total of 278 Bangladeshi citizens have been arrested. 50 Bangladeshi immigrants have been deported after completing the legal process.

Satyanarayan Chaudhary further said that in the last three weeks, 50 Bangladeshi citizens were arrested from different areas of Mumbai. Bangladeshi citizens live in mumbai by renting houses. In such a situation, landlords have also been given special instructions. Before giving the house on rent, give information about the tenants to the police. Satyanarayan Chaudhary also warned of strict action if the police is not cooperated. On sunday night, Ghatkopar police arrested three Bangladeshis living illegally.

The accused have been identified as Shakeel Yarul Sheikh, Alam Alauddin Sheikh and Rasal Akbar Sheikh. police said that the arrested Bangladeshis lived in Panvel. During interrogation, the accused have made a shocking revelation. They told that they had entered the indian border illegally.
