According to sources here in ujjain of the state, an officer has been caught red handed taking bribe. ujjain Lokayukta police caught the Tehsildar of Sonkachh in Dewas district and a teacher posted in the Tehsil office red handed taking a bribe of ₹ 7000. The accused were demanding bribe for the transfer of land. After this matter came to light, there was a stir in the Tehsil office. Lokayukta SP Anil Vishwakarma told that a complaint was made by Ravindra, son of Sajjan Singh, living in village Sanwer of Sonkachh tehsil of Dewas district, that he has land in Kumariyara Rao on bhopal Road, for the transfer of which a great man application was given in the Lok Seva office Sonkachh. To get further action done on the application, a bribe of ₹ 7000 was demanded by teacher jai Singh Parmar.

Meanwhile jai Singh Parmar is currently posted in the election Branch Tehsil Sonkatch. He has been working here for a long time. Meanwhile, on the basis of information, the police verified the complaint. This complaint was found to be correct. Lokayukta police took action and caught Sonkatch Tehsildar manish Jain and jai Singh Parmar taking bribe. After being caught, the police took action against both of them.

Moreover Lokayukta DSP sunil Talan said that as soon as jai Singh took the money in the Tehsil office Sonkatch, he immediately went to the Tehsildar's chamber. The Tehsildar was present in the Tehsildar's chamber. Lokayukta police has registered a case against both of them under the sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. However, this is not the first case of bribery in the country. Even before this, many such cases have come to light where officials have been caught red-handed taking bribe.
