Mayor Mahesh Kumar held a review meeting with the officials regarding the work to be done from MLA-LAD fund in Delhi. In this meeting, a report has been taken from the officials by discussing the work done so far. Orders were given to complete the ongoing works and projects under the mla fund by the first week of January. Engineer-in-Chief K.P. Singh and officials of the Engineering Department (all zones) participated in this meeting.

What else did the mayor say?

During the meeting, the mayor instructed the officials to complete all the projects as soon as possible. He instructed to monitor the progress of the works daily and submit a detailed status report in the prescribed format every day. The mayor said that work orders for pending projects should be issued immediately and it should be ensured that there is no delay of any kind. He also directed that all the pending works should be started within this week. In the meeting, the development work going on in 12 zones of delhi Municipal Corporation was reviewed, in which emphasis was laid on improving public infrastructure and services by effectively using mla funds.

Works completed before the code of conduct will be inaugurated

The delhi Mayor said that all the work that has been completed so far will be inaugurated before the model code of conduct comes into force for the delhi elections. He said, "Completing these projects on time is our priority, officials should follow the deadlines and maintain high quality in implementation."
