Gaziabad Crime Branch has arrested a 10th pass person who claimed to be the Chairman of Human Rights Justice Commission of Uttar Pradesh. He used to take escort as well as traffic protection etc. from the police for many months. When the police inquired, no such person was found. There was also Ashoka's pillar on his letter pad.
On this matter, ghaziabad ADCP Crime Sachchidanand Rai said that a letter from a person named Anas Malik had come to the ghaziabad District Officer. In which the letter pad had the national symbol Ashoka's pillar, niti aayog and Chairman Human Rights Justice Commission of Uttar Pradesh. He had expected to get police security, escort and traffic protection during his visit to Ghaziabad. ADCP Crime said that when the police conducted an investigation, no such person was found. After which Anas Malik has been arrested. He is so clever that an orderly's turban, letter pad and a car in which Uttar Pradesh government and Human Rights are written have been recovered from him. During interrogation, he told that earlier he used to work as a four-ceiling contractor and is only a tenth pass.
What did the accused say during interrogation?
During interrogation, the accused told that gradually after coming in contact with politicians, he started feeling like living this lifestyle after seeing police protection and other facilities. After this, he used to print fake letterheads and send them by mail whenever he had to travel somewhere. He knew that he used to write the name and number of his personal secretary staff, car driver PSO etc. On the basis of interrogation, the police told that he used to make the person accompanying him wear white clothes and wear an orderly's turban. He has taken police protection many times. He has also taken money in the name of getting people a job.
