An incident has come to light in which about 10 boys who went for trekking in Sanjay gandhi National Park, i.e. Yeur forest adjacent to Mumbai, were attacked by bees. As soon as the information about this incident was received, the policemen of Vartaknagar police station and the TDRF personnel and the disaster team personnel of the nagar Nigam reached the spot and started the work of rescuing the boys amidst the bees. In this case of bee attack, seven boys have been handed over to their families and three people have been admitted to a private hospital in the area for treatment. Sanjay gandhi National Park is located in Yeur near Thane. According to the information received from the police, 10 boys had gone for trekking on the mountain. All the boys lost their way in this big forest and went into the forest about 4 km away. These boys got stuck inside the forest due to fear of being stung by bees.
One of these boys called the Vartak nagar police station and informed that they were stuck in the forest, after which the police swung into action. Information about this incident was also provided to the disaster department of thane Municipal Corporation. Also, a team of police, municipal employees and TDRF personnel reached the hill.
Rescue successful after one and a half hours of hard work
According to the information received from the disaster department of thane Municipal Corporation, after about one and a half hours of hard work, all the boys have been rescued safely. Regarding this matter, the police have taken the names and addresses of all the boys in writing for record. The age of all 10 boys has been stated to be 18 years. Laser Vartak nagar police is also investigating this entire matter whether these 10 boys went to the forest with permission or without permission.
