The officer said that the person (fake police officer) claimed that the victim's credit card was used in a financial fraud of Rs 500 crore in hyderabad and Rs 20 lakh was deposited in her account. After this, the person told the woman that he was transferring the call to the cbi officer. After this, the cbi officer made a video call to the victim woman and threatened to arrest her. The officer said that the fraudsters told her that if she wants to save herself from arrest, then she will have to deposit money in the given bank accounts. After this, the woman deposited about Rs 1.25 crore within a month.
