The court has acquitted 12 people in the blast case that took place in april 2006 in Nanded, Maharashtra. They have been acquitted by a court in Nanded. This blast took place in a house in which two people died. All of them have been acquitted due to lack of evidence.
Some of these accused, including Rakesh Dhawade, were also linked to the Malegaon blast case. The Malegaon blast took place in 2008. Many people were killed in this incident. The court said in its verdict that the prosecution has failed to present any concrete evidence. No strong evidence has been found against the accused in this regard.
Accused got relief after 19 years
This case was going on for about 19 years in which the investigating agencies had questioned the accused for a long time but nothing concrete came out of the interrogation and neither could the investigating agency prove anything.
The investigation of the case was first handed over to SIT and then to CBI
On 6 april 2006, a loud explosion was heard from a house in Patbandhare nagar of Nanded. police reached the spot. They found naresh Rakondwar and Himanshu Panse dead there. Apart from this, four other people were injured who were taken to the hospital. Initially it was said that the incident happened due to the explosion of a firecracker. However, after searching the house the next day, the case was handed over to ATS.
Later this case was handed over to CBI. In the investigation, it came to light that the accused are also connected to Pune, Parbhani and Jalna blasts. cbi had also filed a charge sheet of two thousand pages. Statements of many witnesses were recorded in this case but nothing concrete came out in the investigation.
