A horrific accident took place on Raigad-Mumbai goa Highway in maharashtra on friday (3 January). Four people died in this accident, while two people were injured. According to the information, this accident happened near Veer railway station on mumbai goa Highway, where a towing van collided with a Scorpio.

According to the information, after this accident, the injured have been admitted to Mahad Rural Hospital for treatment. As soon as the diesel in the Scorpio ran out, the driver parked the Scorpio on the side of the road and the towing van going from Chiplun to Panvel at high speed hit the Scorpio hard.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, Mahad Taluka police reached the spot and the driver of the towing van has been taken into custody in this case and further investigation of the accident is being done.

According to the police, the four deceased who lost their lives in this accident have been identified. They have been identified as Sahil Shelar, prasad Natekar, Suryakant More and sameer Minde, while Suraj Nalawade and Shubham Matal are injured. It is being told that they were residents of Mahad city. According to a Raigad police official, all of them had gone out to drink coffee at night.
