He alleged that no one seems to be discussing the development, progress and lifestyle of people of delhi after 2014. arvind kejriwal and PM Modi are seen running away from issues by talking evasively to people by just talking about future plans, inaugurations and laying foundation stones.
Devendra Yadav said, ''Today it is necessary to tell that delhi Metro rail Corporation was established in May 1995 and a master plan was made during the tenure of congress in the 90s, in which 420 km of metro route was built, the target of which was set to be completed by 2021. In the first phase, work of 65 km at a cost of 10571 crores started on 1 october 1998, which was completed 2 years and 9 months before the time and brought a new revolution in the field of public transport by Congress.

He further said, ''In the second phase of the metro, the civil work of the airport line, the work of laying 125 km metro line at a cost of 23810 crores under NCR expansion started in 2006 and this project was also completed 3 months before the time period and a record was set. In the third phase of the metro, work of 103 km started at a cost of 35000 crores and in the same phase, the extension of 14 km metro line to faridabad was approved in september 2011 at a cost of 2494 crores.
Devendra Yadav said that due to these efforts of congress regarding development work in the field of public transport, 3,90,971 vehicles were reduced on the roads and along with the reduction in travel time by an average of 32 minutes, pollution was also reduced and accidents also decreased.
