The crackdown on illegal liquor traders is going on in Delhi. In this episode, the outer district police has succeeded in arresting three smugglers while recovering a huge consignment of illegal liquor in two separate cases.

Information of illegal liquor being sold in Vikas Nagar

DCP Sachin Sharma said that the police of the district is engaged in developing information about illegal liquor traders by activating sources. In this sequence, the police of Ranhaula police station had received information about illegal liquor being sold near a house in Vikas nagar area. Taking action on which, the police team caught a suspect with three cartons of illegal liquor outside a house in Vikas Nagar. The consignment of illegal liquor recovered was smuggled from Haryana. The accused arrested in this case was identified as Rinku, a resident of Vikas Nagar.

One arrested with 1650 quarters of liquor

During interrogation, the accused told that he works for a person named Jeetu and the consignment of liquor recovered belongs to him. Whereas the house outside which he is standing also belongs to Jeetu and 30 cartons and a consignment of illegal liquor are kept inside the house. On which the police seized 30 cartons of illegal liquor from the house. A total of 1650 quarters of illegal liquor were recovered from the recovered cartons. The DCP told that in another case, the Special Staff police recovered a huge consignment of 5 thousand quarters of illegal liquor, which was smuggled from haryana in a Swaraj Mazda truck. Giving information, he said that the Special Staff police had received information about a huge consignment of illegal liquor being smuggled from Haryana. On which, the team led by Inspector Rohit, in-charge of Special Staff, laid a trap and stopped the Swaraj Mazda truck in Laxmi Park area for investigation.

5 thousand quarters of illegal liquor were recovered from the truck. The truck was seized and the driver was arrested. He was identified as Joginder Singh alias Jogi. He was brought to delhi from Nikothi area of Delhi. police has arrested a total of two accused in this case. During interrogation, the accused told that he had to hand over the consignment of liquor to Ganesh alias Chiya near Nilothi on the way. Based on this information, police also arrested Ganesh alias Chiya. A case has been registered in this case under the Excise Act in nihal Vihar police station. In both the cases, police has arrested the accused and started further investigation.
