Delhi: delhi Lieutenant governor VK Saxena has approved further relaxation in recruitment norms to provide employment to 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims. The age limit will be relaxed up to 55 years.

Important and big news has come out for the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots. delhi Lieutenant governor VK Saxena has approved further relaxation in the recruitment criteria to provide employment to the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Complete relaxation in the required educational qualification and age limit up to 55 years has been approved for 88 applicants. An official of the raj Niwas gave information in this regard on Sunday. He said that the applicants have been given relaxation in the required educational qualification and the upper age limit has been increased to 55 years for all 88 applicants.

What was said in the note issued from the lg office?

Exemption has been approved for their appointment as different work personnel in various government departments. A note issued from the Lt Governor's office said, "Repeated representations were made in this regard by the delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, public representatives and victims' groups, who met the Lt governor recently."

The rehabilitation package, including provision of jobs for victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, was approved by the Union home Ministry on january 16, 2006.
