Politics has also started over the murder of Shahedin Qureshi, a youth killed in mob lynching in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. In fact, Shahedin Qureshi, a resident of Asalatpura Bakri Ka Hata in Moradabad, was caught and brutally beaten by a mob of cow protectors on december 30 at around 3:30 am in the naveen Mandi Samiti premises of Moradabad on charges of cow slaughter. Due to this, he was badly injured. The police admitted the injured Shahedin to the hospital for treatment, where he died a few hours later. After this, on the morning of 31 december, Shahedin's body was buried in the graveyard of Idgah under tight police security.
SP mp met the victim's family
In this case, Shahedin Qureshi's brother Mohammad Alam Qureshi has lodged an FIR of murder against unknown persons. In this case, the police had also arrested Adnan on charges of cow slaughter along with Shahedin, who has been sent to jail. Now this matter is gaining political momentum. Moradabad's SP mp Ruchi Veera reached Shahedin Qureshi's house and met Shahedin's family and targeted the bjp government while expressing regret over the incident.
The SP mp said that the shameful tradition of mob lynching started during the bjp government. She said that she will meet the top police officials and get justice for the victim's family.
