During the investigation of baba Siddiqui murder case, mumbai police found out that Gaurav, who was arrested from Karve nagar in pune on 6th November, had gone to jharkhand with Rupesh Mohol, another accused in the case, and absconding accused Shubham Lonkar, where they practiced firing with AK 47.

The arrested accused told the police that all three of them had left pune on 28th July by Pune-Hatia Express train and reached Hatia station in jharkhand on the next day, 29th July. From there, they all went about 25-30 kms and then their mobile phones and other electronic items were kept there. At that place, they were blindfolded and taken by car for about two to two and a half hours and then their blindfolds were removed.

After this, they were made to practice firing and then their eyes were again blindfolded and they were brought to the same place by driving for two to two and a half hours where their mobile phones and other electronic gadgets were kept. Their belongings were returned to them and then they were taken to a station 25-30 kms away.

Let us tell you that the place where they were made to practice firing is considered a Naxal-affected area, so it is being investigated whether the shooters of lawrence Bishnoi gang had any connection with Naxalites. However, the accused Gaurav and Rupesh claim that they do not know who made them practice firing and said that this line-up was of Shubham Lonkar. Shubham is currently absconding.
