The baba sitting in the fire in maha Kumbh told that due to the penance going on for years, his nails have grown a lot. He said that nails are not cut in penance. His dreadlocks have also grown. Our body is like a dead person. We are doing penance for the salvation of this land. He has given up his body to protect religion. He remains engaged in his devotion. Due to this sadhana of baba, many people call him Hathayogi, while some call him Haathwale baba or Nail Baba. He told that now he has got used to living like this. Even if he goes somewhere, he stays like this. He rarely travels in a car, he travels on foot from one place to another.
Mahakal Giri baba told that he had entered the life of a sanyasi at a very young age, after which he has been doing penance to protect religion. baba said that he has taken the pindi of Lord shiva in his hands. Shivling resides in his hand. That is why he keeps his hand raised. A large number of people are coming to see his unique penance. baba said that he will continue to do penance like this till the last breath of his life.
