In this episode, the police team of Khyala police station of Western district succeeded in arresting two illegal liquor smugglers, who had reached delhi with a huge consignment of illegal liquor from Haryana.

DCP Vichitra Veer said that, in view of the cases of illegal liquor smuggling in recent times and the elections, the police of the district was directed to curb organized crime including smuggling. For which teams have been formed at the police station level. In this regard, a team of Head Constable pradeep and Constable Prakash and others was formed under the supervision of ACP Tilak nagar Surendra Kumar and under the leadership of SHO Khyala Vinod Kumar.

During patrolling, a suspicious Eco van was chased and caught

The team was especially engaged in patrolling at night to keep a close eye on the suspects and to develop information about the criminals and catch them. In this sequence, the team of Head Constable pradeep and Constable Prakash noticed a suspicious Eco van during night patrolling, which was coming at a high speed.

The team signaled the Eco van to stop, but instead of stopping the vehicle, the van driver increased its speed and tried to escape. The police team also showed alertness and chased and caught them.

4 thousand quarters of illegal liquor recovered, two smugglers arrested

There were two people in the Eco van, who were identified as vishal alias Banka of Jhajjar haryana and Vipin of Mangolpuri, Delhi. A total of 80 cartons were recovered during the search of the vehicle, in which a total of 4 thousand quarters of illegal foreign and domestic liquor were recovered. The police seized the vehicle and took both of them into custody. In this case, the police have registered a case under the Excise Act and arrested both of them and have started further investigation.
