Firozabad police is constantly engaged in arresting wanted criminals. In this sequence, the police is constantly tightening the noose on criminals to maintain law and order and to reduce criminal activities in the district. The police conducted an arrest campaign against non-bailable warrants in all the police stations of the district from late night to 5:00 am. Under this campaign, 72 non-bailable warrants were arrested in all the police stations across the district.

Firozabad police conducted this campaign on a large scale for the second time within 20 days. Earlier, on the night of 21 December, arrests were made in all 19 police station areas of the district by conducting a campaign. During this campaign, 61 warrants were arrested and sent to jail. Since then this campaign is going on continuously. Every day criminals wanted in non-bailable warrants are being sent to jail.

According to Firozabad's Senior Superintendent of police Saurabh Dixit, this action is being continuously taken towards zeroing any kind of criminal activity in the district and controlling crime. Professional criminals are being arrested and sent to jail. At the same time, efforts are also being made to provide a crime-free and fear-free environment to the people of the district.

police arrested 72 warrantees

72 warrantees were arrested in this campaign which ran from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday. The maximum number of 15 warrantees were arrested in Sirsaganj police station, while in terms of circles, the maximum number of warrantees were arrested from Tundla circle, 21 warrantees and the smallest circle Sirsaganj had 16 warrantees. It is worth noting that Sirsaganj circle has two police stations of the district, Sirsaganj and Nasirpur. Maximum 21 non-bailable warrant criminals were arrested in Tundla Circle, 16 in Sirsaganj, 12 in City, 10 in Jasrana, 8 in Shikohabad and 7 in Sadar Circle. All these warrants will be arrested and sent to jail after taking legal action.
