ghaziabad police has arrested 8 such boys who used to call youth to flat through dating app. There they used to make their videos nude and then used to take money by threatening to make them viral. According to the police, recently they had done this fraud with two boys. police has recovered 70000 rupees from their possession.
ACP Kavi nagar abhishek Srivastava in ghaziabad said that recently two complaints were received in Madhuban Bapudham police station area. In which the youth had told that they were called to a flat in the police station area through a dating app. Where their clothes were forcibly removed and then their video was made. After making the video, money was taken from them online by threatening to kill them. police has arrested Kapil Verma, Sandeep, Nitin Chauhan, deepak Verma, Arun, abhishek Baliyan, abhishek Chaudhary and arjun Sharma in this case.
police recovered 9 smartphones from the accused
During police interrogation, they told that these people used to call young people by chatting through online apps. They were called to the flat on the pretext of sexual activity. Then all of them gathered and made videos of the called youth by stripping them naked. They also threatened to kill them by taking them hostage. These people used to extort money by threatening to make the video viral. According to the police, they had extorted about two lakh rupees from both the youths. 09 mobile phones and Rs 70000 have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
All 8 people involved in this case have been arrested by the police. A case has been registered against them under the relevant sections. Along with this, whatever items have been found from these accused, the police has confiscated it. police has also found 9 mobile phones from them, now the data inside these mobile phones is being investigated, because the police hopes that a lot can be revealed by investigating the phone.
