For the delhi assembly elections, the bharatiya janata party (BJP) has released three lists and announced the names of candidates for 59 seats. bjp has fielded raj Kumar Chauhan from Delhi's Mangolpuri seat. This has angered bjp leader and scheduled caste Front in-charge Karma Singh Karma.

In fact, bjp has cut Karma Singh Karma's ticket from Mangolpuri seat and fielded a new candidate. Karma's supporters are angry about this and are creating a ruckus in the bjp office. During the uproar, Karma Singh Karma's supporters raised slogans and said, 'Outside leader not wanted'.

It is worth noting that in the 2020 assembly elections from Mangolpuri (SC) seat, bjp had made Karma Singh Karma the candidate. In the last election, Rakhi Birla, the aam aadmi party (AAP) candidate on this seat, also won the election. bjp candidate Karm Singh Karma got 44038 votes, while AAP candidate rekha Birla won by getting 74154 votes. Apart from this, congress candidate Rajesh Lilothia got only 4073 votes and BSP's murari Lal had to be satisfied with 2491 votes.

Leaders were seen unhappy with the bjp candidate list

bjp released the names of 59 candidates for the delhi assembly elections 2025, out of which Kapil Mishra was given a ticket on Karawal nagar seat. Angry with this, Karawal Nagar's sitting mla Mohan Singh Bisht got emotional and cried. He expressed his displeasure, after which bjp assured him of a ticket from Mustafabad seat. The very next day after the news of Mohan Bisht's displeasure came to the fore, bjp tried to persuade Bisht by releasing the third list of only one candidate. In the third list, the party gave Bisht a ticket from Mustafabad seat.
