Congress' Rajesh Chauhan is also contesting in a triangular contest on this seat. bjp had given ticket to Arvind Kumar from here in 2020, who was defeated by Prakash Jarwal by a margin of about 40 thousand votes. However, this time the candidate from nda has changed and deepak Tanwar is contesting against prem Kumar Chauhan. Deoli is the seat from where Arvinder Singh Lovely used to be an MLA. Will JDU's Shailendra Kumar be able to break AAP's Chakravyuha?
AAP's sanjeev Jha has been an mla from Burari assembly seat since 2013. bjp had also given this seat to JDU in 2020 and Shailendra Kumar was given a ticket by JDU. Shailendra Kumar lost the election from this seat by a huge margin. sanjeev Jha got 139,598 votes, while Shailendra Kumar could get only 51,440 votes. This time congress has given ticket to Mangesh Tyagi from here.
