The hearing in the high court on ED's plea against the bail granted to former delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal in the alleged money laundering case related to delhi liquor policy has been postponed once again. The lawyer appearing for ED said that ASG is currently busy in some case in the supreme court to argue in this case, so the hearing in the case should be listed for further hearing.
The lawyer said 'this is a propaganda'
However, senior lawyer Vikram Chaudhary appearing for arvind kejriwal has opposed the postponement of the case. He said that this is the seventh time that ED has requested to go into this case and delhi assembly elections are about to be held, so there is no justification to keep the case pending.
The senior lawyer appearing for kejriwal said that this is a propaganda, nothing more than that. ED is withdrawing the petition for the rest of the accused, but this is not being done in this case. He said that the remaining 15 accused in the case have got bail. So, there is no justification to keep this petition pending. ED should withdraw this as well. The next hearing of this case will now be held on march 17 in the delhi High Court.
