National Convenor of aam aadmi party arvind kejriwal said on sunday that there is a big problem of living or residence in Delhi. I am roaming in my area and I am coming to know that when a government employee retires, he comes on the road and is forced to live in slums. Today I have written a letter to prime minister Narendra Modi. I have demanded from him that if the central government gives land to the Safai Karamcharis, then the delhi government should build houses on it. So that after retiring from government job, they can take advantage of permanent and better housing.
What is in the letter of former CM?
arvind kejriwal has told in the letter written to PM Modi that after getting land at concessional rates and building houses by the delhi government, government employees will be able to pay the money in easy installments. Similarly, after providing government housing to the Safai Karamcharis, AAP chief kejriwal has emphasized on implementing this scheme for other government employees, especially the lower level employees.
arvind kejriwal has told the PM through the letter that Safai Karamcharis are the backbone of the sanitation system of our city. They live in the houses provided by the government during their job, but after retirement they have to vacate these houses. They are unable to buy their own house or rent a house at a high price in delhi, due to which they and their families are in an insecure situation.
Land should be provided at concessional rates
Since land related matters in delhi come under the central government, you are requested that the central government should provide land to Safai Karamcharis at concessional rates. The delhi government will build houses for Safai Karamcharis on the land allotted by the Centre.
