All political parties have geared up for the delhi Assembly elections. However, apart from Aam Aadmi party, no other political party has declared a cm face. Candidates of all three parties are considered strong from New delhi Assembly seat. arvind kejriwal from AAP, sandeep Dixit from congress and parvesh verma from bjp are strong candidates, but congress has not made sandeep Dixit or any other leader its cm face. sandeep Dixit has given a big statement regarding this. While talking to news 24, sandeep Dixit was asked why congress did not make him the cm face? To this, sandeep Dixit replied that he does not consider himself worthy of this post. For this, he gave two reasons.
'No deep connection with the organization'- sandeep Dixit
sandeep Dixit said, "To become the face of the chief minister, a leader should have two qualities. First, that person should have a connection with the organization. I have been in politics for 10 years, but I am not very active in Delhi. I have a business side, where I work for agriculture and farmers in madhya pradesh with a voluntary organization and then I also teach. I have been coming and going with the Congress."
The congress candidate from New delhi seat said, "I have also had a bitter-sweet relationship with the party. Sometimes I say too many things more than necessary. I have not been able to become as disciplined a soldier of the party as maybe other people would be. You may consider it good or bad, but I do not have much practical connection with the organization."
'People in east delhi may know me, but not in the rest of Delhi' - sandeep Dixit
While explaining the second quality, sandeep Dixit said, "Only a person who has a hold in the entire state can become the cm face. It is possible that people in east delhi know me and my work, because I have been an mp from here. They may also know me because of Sheila Dixit, but will people in the rest of delhi really know me in that way? I don't think so." Sheila Dixit's son and congress candidate sandeep Dixit further said, "Just because I have a political legacy, it can have an impact in an area. I have worked very hard in east Delhi. If you say that I should be made the cm face of east delhi, then I can agree but it will not be right to choose me as the cm face for the whole of Delhi."
