Where should a common man go if he has to wander from door to door for his rights? When the complaint of one such person was not heard in the delhi office of the Insurance Ombudsman, he finally, tired and tired, pleaded for help from Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He took the help of social media to convey his message to the Finance Minister. Tagging the Finance minister on x, he posted a copy of his complaint and wrote, "Madam, please help us get a hearing date in the delhi office of the Insurance Ombudsman. We are common people and cannot take so much stress."
Calling the Lokpan office also did not help
In his letter, he mentioned that despite filing a complaint in the Ombudsman delhi office on december 10, 2024, there is no information about when his hearing will take place. This person named ashwini Pratap Singh also wrote that there is no use of calling the Lokpal office because no one is picking up the phone. The complainant also wrote that the Lokpal delhi office is 35 km away from his house, which is causing more trouble.
This is the reason he complained
Actually, the insurance company has rejected his motor insurance claim, due to which he filed a complaint with the Ombudsman, but to no avail. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman tagged the Department of Financial services (DFS) on this post and asked the agency to resolve the matter. Let us tell you that DFS oversees the functioning of banks, financial institutions, insurance companies and the National Pension System.
